Name the most frustrating game you ever played

I made a quarter of a million Fons, my best run ever so far. I paused the game to take a call. Then, to my horror, I saw my character get hit by an enemy from behind the pause menu. My timer was still counting down! Definitely Nightmare Troubadour. I spent 3 days trying to figure out how to actually play and which controls do what before giving up entirely.
