For me it has always been Kyon from Haruhi Suzumiya no Yuutsu. The way he thinks and express himself is the most relatable.

Definately Manato from Hai to gensou no grimgar. I know from playing HVZ what it's like when a battlefield descends into chaos, and the confidence in all your allies shatters. To be the man who steps out and states what we need to do in order to organize a counter attack and keep the most around you alive, sometimes you have to be the guy who takes the front lines. Even when you have that voice in the back of your mind screaming that you aren't going to make it. Its just kinda a shame he rolled a healer. ^^; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aM6XbXBZh2M

Ive been personally identifying myself as Agito Wanijima from Air Gear since I was 12. I dont have much in common from his personality but I guess the anger issues he has and how foul mouthed he is just resonates with me for a long time.
