If you need practice socializing, consider becoming a Lyft or Uber driver. Socializing is a learned skill. You get better at it the more you do it. I've met a handful of interesting people in the last year that drive part time. Last night my driver was a private celebrity chef so I got to learn how he got into it. He name dropped some. Of course they all live in Atlanta but still, very known names.
