What do you think about never getting married?

I don't think marriage is a thing I want, I had to much relationship troubles. I got engaged, he dumped me, I wanted to buy a house, he dumped me. These days relationships and real love is hard to find. The more your heart break, the less you want to commit to someone.

Marriage is a serious commitment yet taken very lightly by many. I personally am okay with not getting married. I kind of prefer no marriage over getting married but if there were to be someone who is extremely compatible with me and have a good heart, I may consider it. I am only giving marriage a one time thing so if my first marriage doesn't last, then that's it. Not going to do it again even if the next partner wants to.

Marriage is a mutual agreement. I'm not too keen on the whole ritual of it, but I think it'd be normal to feel a little insecure without that agreement.

If I ever meet the right girl and we both love each other, then I would love to get married to her. However, if I never do find my "soul mate" or even if I never get another girlfriend then I won't. I would hate to get married just for the sake of getting married. It's a huge mistake to get married to someone you don't feel anything for. If I never get married, then so be it. It's really no skin off my back.

It's not essential, but its nice. Like a cherry on top of a vanilla fudge sundae. If I do get married, everyone will be required to cosplay or gtfo.

Like at the wedding? or in the family? I wanna be married at some point.

Ceremony and reception. I dislike tradition. Get a good chuckle seeing my mom as sailor moon in the distant future, ya know.

I don't really know. I mean I don't think having something binding me to someone should be necessary to keep us together, but at the same time if I was with someone for a very long time and they were not really for it, I'd be at least a little bit concerned. That being said, I wouldn't really want to marry someone just for the sake of getting married. It would suck going through my whole life never finding someone compatible in that way, but that would be better than a miserable marriage.
