And we do have consoles, but I play so much on the PC to the point Arc keeps begging me to finish RedDead 2 so he can free up more space on his PS4. But no fence-straddling. The last $300-400 I've spent on gaming has been for my computer. And I think Red Dead was a Christmas gift. Ultimately, I wanted to make sure you weren't mad. Plus, I built my computer like 3-4 years ago so clearly whatever they put into the consoles that came out last year are going to have better hardware than what my PC has. That's just how technology markets. Give them something now and then make them want something better in a year or two. Still, I can't work from home on a PS4. And for couples that game together it saves space to have 2 pc set up than 2 console stations. Maybe when we get a bigger place it would be more feasible, but not in modest living accommodations.

Ever since I got my first PC I never looked back. It's not worth in my eyes to drop the money on a console when I can already play everything I want on PC and not have to worry about backwards compatibility for older games. Theres also lots of sales on PC games which is nice. There are some console exclusives I wish I could play but most of the really good ones end up coming to PC eventually. I don't consider myself PC master race either, I don't care what you play on, whatever is most convenient for you and for me that's PC. I just got a new one a few days ago actually and I'm loving it it's a beast :3

There's something kind of nastalgic about consoles, for me anyway. I suppose growing up in an era where your basic console was cheaper and more accessible made me a little biased. Now, if only they'd focus more on local multiplayer games instead of all of the online only crap, that's a subject worth arguing over.
