MP actually sounds fun, i would do it only if i didnt get stuck gaurding check points. But escorting convoys was pretty exciting when i did it.

You truly are multipurpose as MP. It was fun. Gate isn't even that bad most of the time we were on the gates to work the visitor centers or to do RAMPs (random inspections) the ID checkers were usually different companies on rotation from infantry, cav, and so forth.

I got pulled from my primary MOS to cover as MP for my deployment. It was fun for a bit doing vehicle inspections, escorting convoys. Got a Dec out of that cuz i helped with a billion dollar project escorting Marines for a mass deployment. Not that the marines needed my help lol i totally wanted to be MP when i was signing up. This desk job stuff is lame af

To be honest there is quite a bit of paperwork with being an MP especially if you're doing roadwork. At least it's not all paperwork. PsD might be a fun thing to look into. Security and protection is basically all you do. Of course you'll need to draft up plans, escape routes, convoy Security and all that

Sometimes I wish I wasn’t a supervisor just so I can get away with talking shit to associates that begin annoying arguments. I’m a maintenance supervisor and had one of my members clean out the associate lounge refrigerators by throwing everything out that was not in a lunch box or lunch bag. About 90% of everything in the refrigerators were expired and has a nasty smell. After my member finished clearing it out, an associate started to complain about having her newly bought stuff being thrown out. I understand that, but then she went on and continued saying that we should do our jobs right and clean the restrooms right just like we cleaned the fridge. “Do something right”. This bitch is talking about the same restrooms that we have to deal with every day. Finding shit stains on walls and all over the toilet nowhere inside where it’s supposed to be. Who the fuck missed the toilet when taking a shit?! Anyway, she made me feel like our job is completely under appreciated. Trust me we deal with a lot of shit others wouldn’t do. Funny thing is that, of course, this person can’t do much when it comes to her own job. Talking shit when she can’t do shit. Anyway, I have a lot of stories about the restrooms she talks about that we clean all the time. Found a football sized shit once. Funny thing is that I’m not exaggerating

(caution, spoiler warning for tokyo revengers) takemichi "im gonna save mikey on my own" also takemichi "yo join my new gang" tokyo revengers was never a great manga, it always relied on the heavy cliches that every shonen does, but it atleast had compelling characters and impactful moments when it needed them but holy shit has this manga gone to the dumps. the art style is poor and they keep throwing new characters at us so its hard to keep track and even tell them apart, and the pacing has gone straight to shit. 'oh yeah this lil girl was apart of the gang the entire time!' 200 fucking chapters and they tell us this now?? and the power scaling has always been poor, but its reached dragon ball z levels of 'this is the strongest man! ok now that hes beaten, THIS is the strongest man!' senju's entire character was a waste, and the war of the three deitys was a waste. 'three deitys! three gangs! a HUGE war its gonna be epic guys, youv never seen anything like this since mikey's brothers day! hahaha jk that arc lasts like 10 chapters and its over asap hahaha.' takemichi has always been a shitty protagonist that is riddled with stereotypical shonenshit energy, but holy shit, this new arc is REALLY stomping his character into the dirt. i like that hes making a new gang, but not after he fucking proclaims he'll do it himself!! holy fuck! i PRAY thats just a mistranslation because saying something and then doing another is ridiculous. lift some fucking weights bro, and then people who bothered to train wouldnt always be saving your pathetic ass! actually TRY and improve! but no, now hes just gathering more meat shields to throw away in future battles! MAYBE if he had brains and used them instead of his brawn, i could excuse it. but no, hes as dumb as a brick. i get that hes ment to be a reflection of mikey's dead brother, but he doesnt have to be a 1:1. just make him strong but he refuses to fight against certain people, so you still get those moments of him getting beaten up and not standing down. it would even contrast mikey's 'ill kill anyone' energy. just anything but him always inserting himself into situations where he knows hes gonna get murdered and other people have to save him instead. i do think they are hinting at takemichi becoming the new mikey (with the coat and his bike) and id love for them to take it in that direction, and that takemichi is the one that will need saving from the dark abyss that mikey is currently in in the end, but this is most certainly just a baseless theory. Out is better.
