@flare3 i literally had to lay down on the concrete ground while i was deployed so yes while i understand its something we do. This isnt the middle east. This is our own home country. These dudes called thousands of these guard members here to protect one sole man from an attack. While yes i understand what it means to defend the president. He is literally the figurehead of our entire nation. But if he cant treat our dudes like humans. (Cuz he has already talked disrespected them in the past). And they are here for him, literally just him. Over 10,000 men and women defending one dude. And they gotta sleep in a parking garage? They kicked them out of the Capitol building and told them sleep outside? This isnt your LT, this isnt your O-6 this is the president of the united states. And you besides being military are also a US citizen, sleeping like a dog. When people who are in a position lower than the president are pulling strings to get them out of the garage.

It aint about the sleeping outside, shit if my commander told me to go lay on some sticks i got him. But its about the message. You cant be saying our troops are everything and then leave them looking like nothing.
