Seriously

im just here to have fun. seriousness is not fun a lot of the time for me, unless its science, politics and shit is fucking awful to talk about because all it is is just people telling eachother that their opinions are wrong. seriousness breeds conflict. but humanity does desire conflict i think. not on a surface level. i know i do, just not this kind of conflict, its boring and obnoxious.

Yes, yes... lol.. posting of the topics in the wrong forum drives me nuts too. But it's true that discussion has declined in all the forums. Even though this is a site for otakus, even the anime forum barely gets any attention. (-_- )

I think the reason the serious talk is avoided is because people are afraid that they will be ridiculed instead of helped or be ridiculed when they try to help, a lot of people turn to anime because of social anxiety.

Because many people here are kids, or just immature and are incapable of discussing things seriously. Least that's my guess.

We shouldn't expect much from kiddos but at least some ask for advice sometimes here, maybe is the only one they're getting... It gets on my nerves that some people start posting memes and make the posts a laugh... There are many around...

conversely @asuka it pisses me off when people bring reality/seriousness into anything. but i try to avoid getting too irritable about it, i have a hard time being serious for certain periods of time. this is one of the few times i am coherent for example, because i have my own opinion on the matter that i, to some degree, wish to be heard. reality is just boring most of the time to me.
