I want to travel back to a time and setting one wouldn't be able to see anywhere nowadays. For example, I really like reading books which are setted in 19th Century England. And my favorite book of all times is Demian by Hermann Hesse, because it's so well written and in my case, relatable. It's also set in the past.

Because some things will never get a TV or movie adaptation, and TV and movies should be burned in general.

I love the way books can help you escape reality, bring you to new worlds and meet new characters/people. Great writes out so much depth to their characters they almost come to life. You can connect with a book in multiple ways and it's always an adventure. Sometimes a good book is what you need when you're feeling down or things aren't just going your way.

my favorite series of all time is twilight. what drew me towards it (and other fans most likely) is how basic and stupid the main character, bella, is. because she has no substance any girl of any age can put herself into that place, and fantasize. i mean, who doesnt want a smoking hot vampire boyfriend???!!!!
its just another way to escape my boring and lonely life i guess

Well, I just read books for information. I hunger for any knowledge of the sort. I have a library of ebooks and a small stack of hard copies (which will expand eventually). I even have virtual copies of those as well. I enjoy learning rather than imagination which is why I lack creativity. Personally, I just get bored with regualr books that have stories and such. I simply can't get into them.

Hmm partially as an escape, and it's often a learning experience
Increasing my vocabulary, seeing things from a different perspective, and maybe having a one up if fictitious scenarios started becoming a reality.
