@lamby I've heard WAY MORE girls tell me about toxic guys they've fallen for or continue to fall for then I have guys saying the same and I've talked with many of BOTH gender about their problems so for me it ain't a stereotype.

@redrum There's part of the problem. You need to be ready to move on. If you continue to try and be in their life it's only going to hurt your progress towards healing. I speak from experience. You basically need to cut out all reminders of them from your daily life as sad as it is to say

Muffin, no, there are not "plenty" of people that want clingy. I'm talking about being obsessive. Being clingy to an obsessive degree WILL ruin a relationship. And from what I've seen, the ones that are detrimentally clingy NEVER think THEY are being obsessive and/or possessive. They justify it with shit like "My heart is just too big," or "I guess she doesn't like nice guys."
