@gabriel_true The simple answer for me is that I'm just an audiophile and to me it's ear-candy. Certain music and sounds give me frisson. Maybe there's something to the way it vibrates my ears that I just like, dunno. I'm such an audiophile, in fact, that sometimes voice and vocal abilities can supersede looks to me. I like every genre of music I've heard. I may not like certain songs from time to time, but I enjoy it. Yes... even country music has it's place. The umberella is electronic music (electronica and electro), and while it was more popular in European countries in the 90s where as America was rolling through Grunge and Alternative Rock, I still enjoyed techno/electro and knew people who listened to it exclusively. This style is definitely expanded and is more global, no longer just popular to Europe. Ownboss is from Brazil and his style is definted as Electronica and Bass House. I don't know if you would ever be interested in learning the distinctions between all the different styles. But the best way is to take a song, usually you can tell how popular it is based on likes/views on youtube, and then search and see if there are different remixes to the song. Then you get into people's interpretations of the songs and the styles and that's usually why you see people doing their own spins on the songs. https://youtu.be/ZeaIvjoH1FY Dubstep is a genre of electronic dance music that originated in South London in the early 2000s. The style emerged as a UK garage offshoot that blended 2-step rhythms and sparse dub production, as well as incorporating elements of broken beat, grime, and drum and bass. https://youtu.be/QJGI4haBMpg Trap is characterized by busy hi-hats, heavy sub-bass, gritty, and super rhythmic snares, and deep 808 kick drums. It employs several layers of monophonic ideas and a melodic accompaniment expressed with synthesizers. https://youtu.be/MYoyIgKBTuU House is a music genre characterized by a repetitive four-on-the-floor beat and a typical tempo of 120 beats per minute.[10] It was created by DJs and music producers from Chicago's underground club culture in the early/mid 1980s, as DJs began altering disco songs to give them a more mechanical beat. https://youtu.be/qBcXicSieLQ Techno is a genre of electronic dance music[2] (EDM) which is generally produced for use in a continuous DJ set, with tempo often varying between 120 and 150 beats per minute (bpm). The central rhythm is typically in common time (4/4) and often characterized by a repetitive four on the floor beat.[3] Artists may use electronic instruments such as drum machines, sequencers, and synthesizers, as well as digital audio workstations. Drum machines from the 1980s such as Roland's TR-808 and TR-909 are highly prized, and software emulations of such retro instruments are popular.

Music is actually the first thing Arc and I connected on outside of anime and MO. The thread about MO members reminding you of certain anime characters, back then, he said I reminded him of Maho Minami from Mongolian Chop Squad lol, a singer in the band. https://i.pinimg.com/280x280_RS/93/49/b8/9349b8a5e6949b7c59e9faaeb74ccccf.jpg Our favorite band is Tool. We both really love going to concerts. Oddly enough we both really, really love triphop too. Our cocktail hour, at our wedding, when we were doing photos, was mostly Portishead with other triphop artists sprinkled in. Only a few people recognized the music, but I think everyone enjoyed it because it's not something they typically listened to. https://youtu.be/Vg1jyL3cr60
