I want to be a manga artist ever since I read dragon ball. I already created a story and right now I am designing the characters.

I am horrible in drawing, but I tried it for the lulz. It was one of my dreams that cant get true.

I'd be better off as a graphic novelist because my manga art is trash and I don't think I could draw so many scenes. But ever since I was 12, I've wanted to be a manga artist of some sort. @Wasistdas You just need pracice boi :D

I'm gonna finish my pharmacy degree and gonna join an art school to become a mangaka ^^ like Naoko Takeuchi xD

Yeah, I am still practicing on drawing the hands of the character's and the building of a city as well but I practice everyday so I got the hang of it.

I really did plan on becoming a part time manga artist a year ago. I had all the supplies needed, and I was already writing a manuscript for the plot. Life happens I guess. Lol

Everyone can draw given enough time/patience and practice. (responding to several posts at once) I would say yea - I'm working on that myself. Be advised that if you want to be a manga-ka in Japan you will undoubtedly have to be flexible in changing your story to the standards the studio you're working for wants. You could make it as an independent artist over there but it's highly unlikely.
