Okay. Can you show that you're being "oppressed". Now at least don't ostracize me for dumbing shit down when you asked for it.
hell_hound7
true there are examples of sexism around, same with racism. but its not just something a specific person or group of people experience. everyone experiences it. life is unfair, it has never been fair, it will never be fair.

hell people who hate feminism are just as bad as femnazis they look at the vocal minority and ignore the silent majority :/
hell_hound7
@lamby then explain to me why feminism is needed? if you agree men face the same problems, what need is there? same rights, same problems....what is there to argue/protest about?

Lol quantify this data. Please calm down you guys. I'm not discrediting your voices because I DON'T KNOW HOW MANY TIMES I HAVE TO SAY IT, I'M NOT A FEMINIST. First: I'd like you to go to google and look up "architecture: A white man profession" years are going to be from 1993 until now and yes we've made a lot of achievements but in third world countries like Venezuela, where I live in and culture is a pretty big factor, let's face it, Hispanic culture can be pretty sexist and close minded. Second: Please try to convince me otherwise what Arabs and their culture do to women isn't archaic suppression world leaders still support nowadays. Third: Men undergo a lot of unfair treatment, true. Jail, divorces, military services, work, etc. But you can't tell me that's compared to what some women had to go through. I, as a woman raised by her dad, know what he had and has to go through as the head of his family, I know pretty well but this is as well an impediment caused by men themselves. So yes, some women whine about pretty stupid shit around where you guys live and try to make it all about them because I've seen it and I agree. But you can't tell me that some women around the world aren't being treated poorly because I myself have lived it. I concur what tookawaii says though, nowadays feminism in places where its efforts have been achieved, wants to improve into an obnoxious movement. Which is why we need a new one, a humanitarian one in which we can see equity around the world.

It's not that I disagree with you, and I don't care what labels you wear. It's the style with which you're presenting your points that irks me. A bad argument for something good will only serve to undermine it, if not turn it into something misshapen. @Lamb I didn't say anything about victims.

well im not mad xD i love debating (though this is more like arguing xD) its nice to learn from others and to hopefully teach others aswell kawai men do NOT face th same problems as women, they face their own unique problems as everyone does my problems with society are what have faced me personally sizeism with women (men do NOT face it like we do) sexualization (same) work place discrimination (as with maria) women being seen as whores for doing the same thing, and less, that men do and i wont even start with sexism in other countries............................

i still believe the idea that if everyone in the world just got together we would achieve so much more. space travel could have been reality rather than a distant dream. rather than fight over who has what or who has it better, we could be solving world hunger and various issues. but it never will change because humans are disgusting creatures driven by greed.

For men, it's mostly just expectations placed on them via traditional roles. Women are/have been suppressed worldwide to the point of they aren't even allowed outside with out a male chaperone(Looking at you Arabs.) or allowed to vote (Women's sufferage helped solve that in the U.S.). There are still leaps to be made towards a true sense of equality, but quite your bitching in the US. Women can run for president, for God's sake. Also, ya want equality? Don't go by rules such as chivalry and expect only men to cater to women (Pay for dinner, for example.). Be the change you wish to see.
