Controversial opinions

Thing is, debates aren't meant to be for educating people. Debates are discussions in which third persons judge based on what they think is their more logical outcome. No one is here to try and convince already formed opinions otherwise because that'd be like trying to educate someone else, when we can see, we are barely educating ourselves. No one has time for that. Which makes teachers/professors even more valuable than they already are. All we can do is try and say what we know and have experienced, if they're interested enough they might do their own research yet if they don't, that just means they're too close-minded to think otherwise. This is purely an individual's decision. (*it's terribly late for this* well damn XD)

The people in this thread are hilarious. Talking about people who are not willing to debate and protest are seen as weak. What about people who ban people from speaking because they say something that rubs you the wrong way? That's the biggest bitch move you can do.
