@Enki It definitely is that way with size and color. With things like 'A red big dog' sounding completely unnatural when compared to 'A big red dog' for unknown reasons really. Although I'm unsure on just how true the HUGE list is since, in all honesty, I think swapping the order of many of those doesn't sound much different to me. re-organizing that to 'A little lovely old rectangular silver French whittling knife' doesn't come off as any less 'weird' than the initial sentence, in my opinion.
