Well, you should only confess when you both are having a good time. Be sure you've hung out with them a few times and of course, have them laughing. Make it memorable. Be considerate too like do something that makes them comfortable. Not only just yourself. I'm not some expert on this and of course some things works best while some don't.

If you get rejected by your look than my taste for woman is awful... Well I guess you are just a bit unlucky. I know it sounds stupid, but never give up. This tactic works for real :3

Best way to look at it is, maybe you're confessing at the wrong times. Sometimes a confession out of the blue can throw off people. Most want a connection of some sort and are longing for some sort of common interest. Not vaguely in one aspect of life, more or less. Or perhaps you have come off too strong? Professing your love for someone you just met can hit or miss. Are you mutually friends? If so what made you friends? Have you talked as friends? Have you made sure that they weren't interested in anyone? Some examples of questions you should have answers to before you decide to confess to someone. As for highschool romance, finding a guy is relatively easy, just maybe got to look in places you hangout most. For example, classmate romance is more or less asking for complications. However say on breaks maybe a common area where you and your friends hangout is best since you spend about 60% of your time there. But that's beside the point, IMO the best course of action is to get to know someone, hang out mutually, then move on when the feeling is more intimate.

Remember you're not the only person. I've confessed many times throughout my middle-high school years. Some rejected and some accepted and later crushed me by lying, cheating or betrayal lmao. Not something i'd like anyone to experience Why do I get treated like garbage when I confess? Well actually nobody knows. Only them c: My point is humans can be simple. Fears, doubts and expections are holding people back. o_O I've kind of also given up. I know. Very well when I'll act on instinct when girls are in my mind but meh. We are both the same c: although you should be more aware of who you choose o-o

My suggestion for starters is frankly don't worry about finding a relationship too much in high school, especially if you're a junior or senior now and plan on going to college afterwards. I can almost guarantee you three years after leaving high school and being in college, you'll look back and almost laugh at how desperate you might have thought you were trying to find a bf back then. College will open up so many new potential avenues for new friendships and relationships once you're done with grade school, high school will seem like a fleeting memory once you're there, especially if you don't plan on going to school in the same city you grew up in. Tieing yourself down with 12 to 18 months of high school left imo is not worth it when you probably won't even give a crap what happened to 90% of your graduating class 4 years after you're done with it. I'm not trying to downplay your current high school experience or anything, but don't let it feel like it's the be all/end all of finding a bf there when you've got your whole life ahead of you.

I sort of see asking people out almost as a process of elimination. If you like them, asked them out and if they said no then you just have to stomach it, move on and find someone else. I totally understand feeling too attached to someone only to be let down and disappointed, it happens to me as well but you shouldn't let that keep you down. Just keep trying, eventually someone will say yes.
