They Are Injecting Me With AIDS

yaasshat
Are you aware of just how small of a percentage got blood clots, let alone died(Out of the MILLIONS vaccinated.)? They did the right thing and pulled the J&J vaccine very quick. More people die from complications due to the common cold. It's still sad that anyone died, however it's not some massive thing. People want to cling onto the bad, no matter how small it is. Maybe we should get scared because, just like normal, some have an allergic reaction, too? There's no such thing as a risk free vaccine, you weigh the pros and cons. I honestly don't believe we had years to wait. But, this debate could go on for just as long on both sides. But, you're right. We should've just continued letting thousands a day die until a few years passed. Not to mention, keep businesses closed, schools online and people staying home.

@gilver are still alive dude?

So its ok to potentially jeopardize the lives of millions who probably wouldnt have died from the virus anyway but will cuz the vaccine has an unintended side effect. All because the virus keeps on killing us and shutting down our businesses? The mental gymnastics here. Sure we needed a solution. You are 100% right but werent you the same dude who said this vaccine doesn't make anyone immune? So if we arent immune, and can still catch the virus. Where is this solution? Oh right lessen the effects of covid, my bad. But downplaying potential side effects all because "people die from this more" or some other bs excuse, isnt thinking long term. These guys are gonna tell you its ok to take it, these people are gonna say not alot of guys died form this. Why? Cuz they are profiting off this vaccine. People wanna be on the right side of history. They want their business open, they want to be the president or government that helped eradicate this virus. Modern medicine might have evolved but the human body hasnt. We arent gonna just suddenly stop being effected by things cuz someone said its safe when there is no undeniable proof.

No vaccine is 100% guaranteed effective. Everyones immune response is different. This virus in particular has such a vast difference in symptoms and reaction per person.

You expect me to believe the CDC who cant even make up their own minds on what to do about this virus? First it was no mask, then one, then two. Then back again to no mask after vaccine but recommended with mask. I have more common sense than they do at this point. Wearing 2 masks is the dumbest thing anyone could have said, instantly discredited. You expect me to believe them telling me a vaccine is safe?
hell_hound7
And yes i realize the CDC and FDA are different but i remember this vaccine wasnt approved by FDA and still isnt.

Like i said, the virus effects everyone differently.. its easier to give a blanket solution to everyone than to convince only certain people with certain conditions to stay home or wear a mask. The rules change per data.
hell_hound7
Yes everyone is different i understand that. What i am saying is that sure this blanket solution could work, but we wont ever know to what extent or what happens when it doesnt until we get there. This isnt something we have 50 years of evidence on. This virus debuted in 2020 (late 2019) and the vaccine made in the same year. We are basically lab rats if we take that vaccine.

No vaccine makes you completely immune... That's not how they work. They majorly cut down the likelihood of getting whatever and they can help so you don't get as sick if you do get whatever. If they didn't care, they wouldn't pull a vaccine that had such a small percentage of issues. Of course, one could argue that was to protect pocket books. You know those vaccines you had to take when you first joined the air force? They could've killed you, too. Of course, you had no choice since you're US "property".XD And those ones have been tested and used for years. My point is, I don't think there's an easy solution. Damned if you do and damned if you don't. Again, gotta weigh out the pros and cons.

Prime example of ways things could effect you later in life. Shingles. The shingles virus, yeah if you got chicken poxs congrats you have a chance for shingles. But it wont appear until the later stages in life.
