3333, naisu @chillhouse happy early-ish bday. i know the feeling. @hell_hound7 uwah i still hate re:zero with a firey passion. i dropped it officially after ep 6 of the second season. the world is interesting and so is the story/mystery from last season, but subaru ruins it for me. oddtaxi is down to earth with its mystery and characters, and its purely character driven. its also really clever in its situations and how they tie certain characters together. i cant say there's a character in the entire show that i dislike or feel like you could exclude them and it would be the same show. everyone adds something. i genuinely get happy when i see a new episode is out. shadowhouse is super unique and original with its premise, but it ends up falling victim to the stereotypical shonen tropes. i wont go more into that because your not caught up with the manga, but id say that's the only thing holding it back from being one of the best. (spoiler for today's episode) the heavy exposition this episode was bothersome too, because in the manga one of the mysteries is "what happened to ram now that shirleys gone" but edward just word vomits what happened to her. I remember theorizing with my friends about what could have happened to her and if they kill imperfect dolls or not. sucks they just put it out there with dialogue alone. but that's the curse of half season shows https://media.tenor.com/images/47752dea4a4687d84167596c635c717e/tenor.gif

@momoichi yeah, i was wondering about ram too. But then edward says it and im like oh. It would have been better if Emilico ran into rum and thats how we found out. But this was just anticlimactic. It looks like its main focus is gonna be this tea that they get from lord grandfather. Also idk man i think you really need to do a deep dive on re:zero i think the biggest mistake is when people dont take the show seriously. There is enough material to binge it. Granted it moght get pretty boring in the first half of season 2. Even i got bored and was tired of this damn sanctuary arc. But it was very important to the story. It had the most character development as well. Before this there was no charcater development. Well there was but it mainly played off of shock factor rather than fleshing out the charcater. It was focused on the story at hand, and luring people in. Oddtaxi ehhh i dont really see it as that deep of a story. It seems like a surface value story. Sure there is a bunch of interconnecting parts. But it also feels cheap how EVERYONE is connected in some way. No one is a side charcater which is good but like still its more of like an anime short that got a full story. At least imo. Its pretty good tbh but not that amazing. Shadows definitely comes out on top there.
