i feel like yuri on ice shouldnt have made top pick on most of these. i feel like the fujoshi and fangirls of the series gave it more votes than was needed. i agree with it being the best couple but everything else was wrong. it didnt have the best opening, ending, animation, or best boy.

What do you mean "gave it more votes than was needed"? This is based on popular vote so..that's kinda how that works. I think it definitely had the best couple and best opening. Most certainly not the best animation, given it was fun to watch the ice skating but it looked really awkward at some points especially Yurio's skating. I don't agree with best boy either. Yuri is alright but not THE BEST. The ending theme was good, better teir than most endings but again..I don't think it qualifies as THE BEST.

i meant like they voted it for way too many categories, literally it was nominated for 6 different things. i understand it was popular vote, but best animation is def a no, best ending was a no, most heart-warming was also a no. for best animation re:zero had way more scenes that were sharp and the visuals were on point and it stayed consistent like that for 26 episodes. yuri on ice couldnt beat that...let alone mob psycho's animations

I think it had cute heartwarming scenes so I could understand how it won. But yeah it definitely didn't have the best animation. I don't know how crunchyroll determined the nomination but it is what it is. And it won by popular vote.

from the girls on here that watched it, most of them were fangirling over the yaoi and shipping the two guys together. i feel thats what contributed to it getting the popular vote tbh. it wasnt that amazing of an anime to get voted up like that

Mob Psycho 100 won 'Best Fight Scene' but it wasn't the best fight scene of the series. Too much YOI. Nanbaka, Re:zero and many other series had a better ending than YOI. I'm disappointed with these results but I suppose it's more of a popularity poll.

@anigamer well thinking back, it kinda was the best fight scene. the one with the blonde kid wasnt really a fight, then the one with the claw was too short and one sided.
