You can't argue against religion with logic as it's not of essence in religion. Faith is. Believing without proof. I grew up in an orthodox christian household with an almost gnostic atheistic brother. Arguing religion with both my mother and my brother is a pain in the arse that I prefer to avoid as both have fanatic tendencies.

The main differences between mythology & religion is how serious their fans take it & how much money it can generate Greek Mythology is mythology because people think it's ridiculous to have multiple gods that control & rule the world vs one god that runs everything. Christianity is religion because people think a woman can give birth and be a virgin, slavery is justified, hating & killing homosexuals was ok and spreading the word of the "good book" made you a prophet/profit.

Well, I don't think they spent the night in a manger. Soooooo, there's that. A manger is a trough for animals to eat out of. Where they stayed was more than likely a cave set up for farm animals.
