For me, I would have to say FPS without a doubt. The reason for that is because the first game I've ever played in my entire life was the original Doom from 1993 and of course it's a timeless, near-perfect masterpiece to this very day and easily one of the greatest games ever made - I'm still playing it today especially with the vast amount of community-made mods and map packs (Project Brutality <333). My other favourite genres are survival horror, aRPG and hack n' slash/spectacle fighter (Stuff like Devil May Cry and Bayonetta).

I play almost anything except for Sports and Simulation (and even then, there are exceptions), but my favorite genre will probably always be RPGs. I started with Dragon Warrior (Quest) on the NES at six years old. I'm currently working my way through the Japanese versions of the Trails in the Sky games on my Vita. If I had to pick a second favorite it'd probably be Action with an emphasis on platformers.

Action/Adventure takes the win for me. It's just something about seeing new places while I kick some dudes ass that makes me feel all giddy inside.

So many good games so little time... Dragon quest would definitely have to be my favorite rpg series but the souls series is close as well. Love zelda as well there all good except skyward sword. biggest disappointment when i bought that 70$ set
