Random thoughts...

It really says something about the world when more than half of the soap and body wash aisle is in locked boxes chained to the shelf. I walked into Food Lion today and just about everything looked like it was being treated like condoms. Which if I'm being honest even if I was owner of the store I probably couldn't get pissed people were stealing. Cause if we're being real if part of the theft happening is a result of people having too many mouths to feed and inflation combined with tariffs has made essentials like food as well as toiletries difficult to afford then it would be to the wealthy's benefit to allow the poor people to steal things like birth control and instant noodles, haha! If I were a billionaire with multiple corporations under my command my logic for dealing with this type of theft would be to treat it as an investment. An investment that keeps the lower class fed, satisfied, and most importantly not over reproducing. It's one thing to keep people from stealing electronics or jewelry, but hand soap to prevent the spread of diseases seems like a silly thing to keep out of the hands of the general public. Lastly it really is nuts that dandruff shampoo that was already expensive is now costing $33. It used to be $20. Of course Elon Musk doesn't mind smelling musky when he's gaming the legal system himself, so I suppose I too should take a page from the rich and influencial to just go full on French! We're all going to be ripe for production with our new age industrial revolution. Pee-yew? More like peee-woooo! Money, money, money! Smell that success... literally!

The irony is that if you were that caring and giving with your money you probably wouldn't be wealthy. Even the charities and philanthropies most the millionaires and billionaires give money to find back into their pockets. Self-serving philanthropy.

I think the scarier thing is how normalized it is that deodrant and soap alone is like 7+ dollars!?! With the more natural stuff costing up to 12 or 15 bucks for one stick, I wouldn't be shocked at people stealing it
