Cocoa is brownish red when is not heavily added...Let's not forget the natural pigment used in some food dyes such as carmine, which is derived from cochineal.

People be weird about cakes. Especially red velvet. I don't trust anyone that tells me it's their fav. Carrot cake is an interesting one but it's not a trust thing. It makes me think the person is more interesting than they appear.

Red velvet is the best, although carrot cake is actually pretty good, fruit cake is not good because it's not cake.
