Every day @verucassault is on a business trip we exchange stories about what we ate that day. She tells me about all the fine dining she has had, and I entertain her with what I managed to haphazardly throw together :3 Recipe for a sad eating day when you don't want to go out and you are broke: -15 cubes of cantaloupe, roughly cubed and shoved in a plastic container -3 slices of already opened bacon, just about to go bad -2 cups milk, expiring today -An old ass box of mac and cheese in the corner of the pantry. The older the better Instructions: 1. Begin by opening the refrigerator door. 2. Stare for 30 seconds. Sigh. 3. Line all expiring food items on counter. It's time to do some alchemy. 4. Cook 3 pieces of bacon in oven 400 degrees for 20 minutes 5.eat cantalope as you watch bacon cook 6. Eat bacon 7.Chug milk 8. Forget that you have already chugged the milk so you now cannot eat the mac and cheese 9. Open the deli drawer and just start eating them cheese slices you got for cheeseburger night a week ago like a friggin rat. Chances are, that cheese is gonna go bad anyways 10.You have now consumed a massive amount of dairy so enter the bathroom (15 minutes)

Shoulda had extra cheesy Mac and cheese with bacon. Toss the cantaloupe, they're abhorrent. However, now you can bake cheese chips. Half caramelized crunchy cheese.

Cantaloupe and honeydew are abominations. Simple. Melons, I appreciate melons, of which those two are compost at best and not melons.
