Chattanooga is in such close proximity to Atlanta you could say its part of northern Georgia. For real though, since I've been traveling for my job a big percentage of the groups I interact with are immigrants of various races. Some of them find they like where they end up doing their medical schooling and residencies and end up staying in those locations. Not saying racism is dead but I don't think lynching is something people actually need to worry about here. Maybe for pedophiles but not because of racial prejudice.

I hate the term "race". Something about that seems a tad..."racist"(It is, sunce it denotes difference as if there are different breeds of human. I don't see any neanderthals, do you? lol). Ethnicity may be the better term to normalize. Maybe I'm a snowflake, as the old generation would say.

It's pretty interchangeable in this regard, but more over it was to show people not from America that I interact with aren't as afraid of racial discrimination as people from here. Or maybe it's just that they overcome their fears for the privilege of getting to practice medicine in America. Could be a bit of both.

I should mention, it's just my opinion. I too use the term "race".

It's just one of those terms that's pretty much impossible not to use. I like to try to avoid using terms like "the left" or "the right" when it comes to politics, but alas, that is easier said than done.

Well the thing is i dont really care about skin color, but not everyone is me. While i dont really fear anything happening to me. The worst that can happen is i die, and i do not fear death. Yes i will obviously avoid it if possible but my main fear is one day i will have children and they will have to experience hardship as a result of my decision to move there. Also the race thing and ethnicity i feel are different. Race is more of skin color/region/origin. Where as ethnicity is like background. So your race could be asian but ethnicity would be like specific. If that makes sense. Or at least how i see it anyway
Also im aware that Tennessee isnt mid US. I was just saying, ik the south was particularly known for slavery and i have even faced racial discrimination in a place like Florida. Just you know i gotta be weary of these things. But i understand the other side of things as the reason for me not moving to a city with TOO many people of my skin color is the rampant crime. So its a lose/lose situation.
But yeah imma look into NH because 1,100 for rent is cake. Like im out here paying 1900 for a one bedroom i think imma be fine. As long as i get a salary above 50k i will make it.

The saying women cant drive isnt a stereotype cuz jeez, this lady literally goes straight in a turning lane and then wants to try and follow me home as if it was my fault he car was nearly side swiped. Literal idiot, also as a woman you shouldnt be following anyone to their home. You dont know what kind of person i am.
