Im really about to bs my way through this biology class. Crazy how i need to know about DNA and scientific method and mRNA and pH values for a cyber security degree smh. College is dated af.

Why is that the case anyway? Every degree you go for has a catalogue of classes needed for the degree so why cant we cut out all the bs and just do only the classes we need? I dont see how any of these things are needed unless i planned to switch to a different career field but even then you hit a certain point where you CANT change your degree so it makes zero sense.

Well i wanna go the government sector route, while the private sector is probably more profitable. If we get another covid situation orbif businesses start losing money and need lay offs i dont wanna be on the chopping block. Granted it would be very stupid to fire your cyber security team but you know corporate. Sadly the cost of the government sector is unfortunately a degree. While looking at USA jobs i cant seem to find any without some sort of higher education and experience.

Best part about the military is getting my sec+ paid for. No $1k coming out of my pocket nah i can just have the government fund it.
