I'm a professional smurf, in both high, and low elo. Usually I like to troll in high for the heck of it, and them dominate the lows and say "I'm just practicing chill"

I need to try marinating chicken, pork or steak in salsa sometime. Kroger brand has a nice taste

Try marinating it in whisk- uh, I dunno. Yeah whiskey. Not too hard on it though, it'll make the chicken inedible

Can't red or white wine be used to marinate steaks as well? I believe I've heard of it being done but I've never tried it myself.

Thank you for that idea, I'll have to try it myself @sobo275 though I am not a whiskey guy, definitely red or white wine as long as it's fruity tasting.

If we're talking steaks, you don't marinate them xD Well, excluding cheap steaks. You could marinate junk like a round steak because they're tough af and need to be tenderized, which is why they're like a dollar...
But you don't marinate a good steak, like a NY Strip or sirloins. They're already tender af, which is the main reason to marinate something over a dry rub- to tenderize it. And the premise of a (good) steak is to sear the outside to trap the juice inside. If you marinate a steak long enough to saturate it, you can't sear the outside properly because the marinate on the inside gets drawn to the outside from the heat and creates a layer between the steak and the pan/grill.
Marinating a good steak is like mixing Coke with good bourbon or whisky.
