Random thoughts...

Just when i was about to shoot my shot and request to leave the country for a 2 week vacation, the big boss tells me the even bigger boss is planning to restrict movement due to covid. So i already got my answer without even asking.

@hell_hound7 Save money. Do a big trip. @Arc was just talking about doing a 3 week Japan honeymoon. [I keep wondering if he hit the lottery.] I know crazy Europeans do long vacations like that but damn. Guess I'm saving up all my PTO now.

@verucassault i have been saving up but you know? it sucks cuz i have been basically planning this since i was in freaking desert during my deployment. I also wanted to go snowboarding and couldnt even do that cuz all the resorts closed down. I even went ahead and cancelled all my booked hotels because it doesnt seem like this will be gone by july. I was figuring since you know mexico has their borders open atm that maybe hey i can go to mexico. Not even that. Like i dont give a rats ass about covid. I didnt get it when my extremely positive coworker coughed next to me. And i mean i wear my mask THE RIGHT WAY. How much of my life do i gotta give away to this damn virus.
