Random thoughts...

Kinda like when anime fans bash furries and furries bash anime fans. While I understand they are both different groups, it's kinda silly seeing how much hate both sides get. You'd think anime fans for example would know better than generalize furries when some anime fans complain about people hating and generalizing anime fans.

I mean expecting common sense and courtesy from here is a bit much imo. Best you can do is just move on and keep trying until you find people that arent completely judging others on prejudicy. Don't see why you'd have to hide your nationality to meet reasonable people.

Yeah, I agree with that. You should be yourself. If someone doesn't want to chat with you because you're Indian, they were honestly never worth your time anyway. I don't hide being an anime fan. It's either you accept it or don't. They can decide. I then will decide not to talk with them if they judge me based on purely being a fan of anime.

Kinda ridiculous that expecting common courtesy and some decent judgement is too much to ask for. That’s kinda sad tbh, not saying it isn’t necessarily true in this day and age, but disappointing.
