I had a nightmare the other night where I woke up and went into the living room and the fan lights were turning on and off and I started to get a bad migrane, like something was latching onto my head like a grab claw machine. It dragged me back into the bedroom and lifted me up to the ceiling where I passed out and woke up in real life.

@hell_hound7 When I was trying to decide between a dog and a cat, I did a lot of research on what it takes to care for each one and keep them healthy, both physically and just as importantly, emotionally. It's not healthy to keep an adult dog in a cage or kennel for over 6 hours during the day. Cut that time in half for a puppy. An owner can technically leave a dog in a cage for 8+ hours, but it causes emotional stress in the long run. It's even recommended for owners to go home from work during their lunch break to show your presence to your dog. Obviously dogs and humans are different, but imagine being in a cage where you can't move for 8 to 12 hours straight during the day, with no other signs of life around you. I read articles that said it's fine to leave dogs in a cage for 8 hours, but at night when it needs to sleep. I'm certainly not telling you what to do, but it's just something to consider.

Depends on the dog to and how much it’s attached to you or even how much space around the house you have cuz that in it self can be confining for a dog.
