A lot of girls turned my head at collossalcon this weekend. And I swear it wasn't just the bikini cosplays at the water park. Catching my eye isn't really that hard. Just look and smile in my direction. A cool or cute cosplay will generally earn a second glance. But relationships, that's another thing entirely. I can't just date a girl because she's cute and lives the otaku life... Although those two things alone already put a girl at an enormous advantage compared to non-otaku. But see, the problem with searching exclusively for that dream girl (Or boy if preferred) is that its like trying to find a unicorn. Whether they exist or not, you likely won't find them. You may find things with unicorn traits. The narwal, the horse with a horn ducktaped to its head, the african unicorn thing that looks absolutely nothing like how we pictured a unicorn would look, but still matches the criteria somehow... Yeah, okay, you know where I'm going with this.

The first thing I look for is if they like anime if they don't that's an instant turn off.
