Broujos before shoujos, dude! Okay, really though. I'm new here and looking for friends. I, uh, am not sure if I signed up with the wrong intentions since this is starting to seem much more geared towards the dating community and not general meet people and make [only] friends like I originally thought. I'm a recent college graduate so I'm no longer exposed to my fellow peers on a regular basis and thus, making friends isn't as easy as it used to be. I really would just like to get to know cool people I can discuss shoujo with who can follow my train of thought due to the understanding of references. :F

Hey hey! Believe it or not, I'm in the same boat. I'm a recent graduate student as well and it does kinda feel weird not being surrounded by people around my age. I'm sure you'll make a bunch of buddies on this. Just jump into the forums if ya haven't. I'd also like to mention that Fushigi Yuugi is one of my favorites from back in the day haha!

Proud Beast - Ah, Fushigi Yuugi, what a wonderful story. I can't believe I was watching it for the first time 11 years ago. I've been trying to find the time to rewatch the entire series with my fiance (who's never seen it before) but we haven't yet. kittie_saya Thanks for the congrats! Glad to know I'm not the only new one here. Some of my favorite anime are; Fushigi Yuugi, Shoujo Kakumei Utena and Sailor Moon. Manga favorites include Peach Girl, Cardcaptor Sakura, Azumanga Daihou, Sailor Moon, Mars and Paradise Kiss (and Neighborhood Story, come to think of it). I'm ridiculously excited at the rerelease of the Sailor Moon manga and the upcoming new anime! And oh my God, unlike a lot of people my age I didn't watch it in my small childhood [(I was around 6th grade when I started watching episodes here in there via the library. Never really did see the thing in it's entirety)], so I never got my hands on much merchandise. But by God, all this new merchandise coming out I've done all I can to own as much of it as possible. And it is GLORIOUS.
