Since we're sharing facts, here is one for you, it has been confirmed already that fat shaming not only does not help motivate people to lose weight but in fact makes the problem worse. It adds stress, often leads to overeating and in fact in the long term can lead to worse health issues. Maybe "fat acceptance" is not the best outcome. But your joking about it is not helping anyone. why is everyone concerned for other people's feelings? The one "fat" person that I saw posted in this thread said 'fuck it, I can handle the jokes and fuck you' while everyone else hopped on the defensive. What the fuck? If you're not affected by it cause you don't think yourself fat, why get upset for someone else? Everyone in here who decided to condemn Reaper for making a fat jokes thread could've easily ignored and bury the thread. Instead, you're putting in your 2 cents and the thread is front and center. I feel like the seriousness of obese feelings should play hefty rolls in this discussion. We will teeter back and forth about who's side holds more weight, but the reality is that both sides have heavily backed up ideals, some people will put their all their eggs in their basket, but some will wobble back and forth on the side they support. I'll be here observing and jiggling back and forth between the opposing arguments, so hopefully you guys can trim the fat of the argument down to some lean, meaty facts.
