Have you ever felt jealousy for someone else? As in you liked someone but so did others and felt the fires of jealousy, wanting that person?
How do you deal with jealousy and control it?

I've felt jealousy on several occasions although i think the important thing is not to let it get to you or control your actions: Do not let it control how you act towards a person. Often i've noticed that some people tend to take out their jealousy on their interest rather than their rival. Jealous people often think they are the victims and that gives them a justification to act however they want to. Me personally? I go Work-out or run. Try to occupy myself until i could find a logical solution that doesn't involve any unnecessary Conflict, personally i look at competition as something bad, but even so- it's competition and i'm going to try my best to be in first. Just because there's competition doesn't mean you should shrivel up and walk away.
If you love or truly want something... Fight for it. Nothing more and nothing less.

With love, their is only jealousy. It's a natural feeling that you should have, when you're in love. ^w^

I think that there is no point in feeling jelly unless your partner gives you some real reasons - i.e. flirting with other people. Being jelous just because random people are looking at your beloved one might ruin the relationship in trully toxic way.

Jealousy isn't an easy feeling to control though. Even if you know is irrational.

Yeah, so is anger, fear and other emotions. But not controlling those will end up badly.
Of course - we have to distinguish some slight feeling jealousy from time to time and constant thinking about whether our partner is currently cheating on us. The first one will be perfectly natural, the other the opposite.

Jealousy does not come with love... That's what idiots who have to always be up their partner's ass to see what they're doing, where they're at and who they're with at all times believe. Jealousy in a relationship more often than not, stems from insecurity. As for jealousy of that which you do not have? That's common, but not something that should be dwelled upon, it makes for an unhealthy thought process and unhealthy decisions. If you're interested in someone, let them know sooner rather than later, that way you can figure out what to do next instead of letting jealousy fester into hatred. Jealousy is not healthy, period. Of course, I'd be a fool to say that even in a relationship you won't ever find yourself feeling jealous, it happens, but shouldn't be the norm.

I am an extremely jealous person, but I try not to let it get out of hand.
