Lucid dreams

Apparently there was a study saying that gamers have less nightmares than other people or that they aren't afraid of their nightmares as much as other people.

I've always been a dreamer and love it. Anything is possible.. forreaall. I've lucid dreamed on plenty of occasions and think its pretty cool. However, I enjoy more of what my mind creates on its own because its always refreshing, spontaneous, and exciting! Most of my dreams go their own route and I can only alter it to an extent. An analogy would be like.. throwing rocks into a river but unable to change its flow? Yeah. This may or may not work for others but try spending ten minutes just .. thinking. Think about anything! Random or relevant. This helps me dream in general and I hope everyone can experience more dreams. Also, the whole apple juice thing has little effect from my experience. Sigh .. only one on this site who keeps a nerdy little dream journal and went off on some thread. Ignore the asian guy.

@Maria Well I suppose it can be called dangerous at some extent. This reminded me of one dream where I heard my alarm clock go off. I usually wake up immediately, but not this time.... I was stuck! I was literally unable to wake up no matter what I did. Then I noticed a man with white hoodie standing nearby, and well...knowing dream characters they usually have something to say. So I asked him why I can't wake up. He turned around and said: "Because I won't allow you to." Well...ofc I went WTF on him and demanded explanation. All he did was respond with a simple: "You have to beat me." and then proceeded to kick me, sending me flying through several buildings (and yes I felt all of it....for some reason I can feel everything in dreams including pain). It will take too long to write everything, so I'll just say that I managed to catch him off guard and dropped the Statue of Liberty on him. Then I ran away as far as I could, and when I felt like I was out of his range I tried and finally managed to wake up. So...yeah I guess playing around with the dream world has it's risks...

@Pippy I sometimes don't manipulate the dream at all, and just go with the flow. One thing is pulling off all sorts of silly stunts for your own amusement, but seeing what your subconscious has to offer is important (and sometimes even more fun) too. Also...yeah I'm a diehard daydreamer, and sometimes just pause and do nothing but fantasize about random stuff. I suppose that's one of the reasons I have so many dreams. Oh...and don't worry, you're not the only one who keeps a nerdy little dream journal lol. I write down all of my dreams. ^^

@Luna, there are a lot of risks to those dreams that if I told you guys, you wouldn't believe me because of how sweet those dreams seem to be to you guys and you could think I'm biased because of my christianity too. In fact, I don't want to tarnish them and the less you know, the better is for you. I learnt that the bad way, that's just it. Though, you know the terms for it and that's clearly enough, I didn't know how to call them either because I want to avoid it. But I sadly know how they are called in my language t.t. Besides, this thread is interesting, congrats for that Luna.

Haha to be honest I didn't expect so many people to be interested in the topic. When I bring it up in front of somebody irl, they usually have no idea what I'm talking about. Don't worry, I've had my fair share of lessons learned that I wish I never had.... As time went by, I got a better grasp of how the dream world works. And well....I found out about certain things, that nobody should ever know. Never ever... Btw, by them you mean the spirit guides?

Yes, same they are usually like: "are you high?" lmao. I don't call them spirit guides and no, I meant the OBE, didn't know that was the name.

I used to go OBE all the time on purpose, but curiosity almost killed the cat. It was all fun and games till a certain "thing" happened. Since then I learned to be more careful, and take it more seriously. Plus I noticed that if I do it too much, once I wake up I feel all weird and absent-minded the entire day. I forget stuff, and can't concentrate. It's almost like a part of me is missing or something. *shivers* Ughhh....not fun at all....
