@SarcasticDesire Big One Piece fan myself, so I see where you're coming from. And despite the reasons why while I disliked the game, I can't in good conscience call it "bad". It did what it set out to do quite well, it just wasn't my bag.

I totally get why people wouldn't be into it, even though I get disappointed sometimes cause even my buddy was like, "bleh" when I suggested playing it. Anything with great character depth draws me in easily, then I start asking my friends about what they think. I really nerd out about the characters! lol

Theres not much development tbh, just quirks. Yet its still good. I recommend you play genocide still gudmoore.

@darkmagus: I've played it, so I at least gave it a chance.

I loved genocide the most, dark stuff is what I live for. Edit: I also forgot to put that my favorite character is Chara.

@utaghoul accessing genocide mode isnt hard at all, its not uncommon to access it by accident. genocide mode isnt very dark either, you kill everyone but the entire place becomes quiet and the game tries to make you feel guilty for running the game that way

It's dark in a sense, but i guess the concepts kinda fuel my inner sadist. Which I love.

i dont feel like its too sadistic, most of the underground monsters go into hiding by the time you get there and youre just left with random encounters. you dont emotionally damage most of the characters, they become determined to kill you so its just mindless killing until no one is left.

Eh its whatever you interpret it to be. I liked the sadistic feelings it gave me. End.

@ Kawaiicat: I was kidding. I like the genocide route for the bosses and the oppressive atmosphere. While it's not terribly dark, I think the game really plays with some interesting dynamics, with your character being an almost unstoppable killing machine because of lvl grinding. NPCs actually flee from you in terror because you're slaughtering their friends and family. More than the other routes, genocide definitely has the most interesting observations about gaming and the mindset of completionists. I stand by what I said earlier that the route plays better when it's last.
