Some people say there is no such thing as a one true soul mate so I'm just curious on others thoughts.Personally to me everyone does not have just one person that is destined for each other and with waiting long enough will magically appear eventually.I think if you do your share of looking you'll find many options out there that can suit you either way. There are a lot of fun great people in this world and fixating on just one and you break up and you truly believe there could never be another after that could be the worst way of thinking..

Eh them term is pretty subjective. You could have 10 different "soulmates" i.e. people you'd be very compatible with floating out there and you might be lucky to meet one of them in your travels.
Do I believe some higher power setup and ordained upon my birth that I'm destined to meet, date, fall in love with and get married to a specific someone? No I do not. Is there probably a lot of different people floating out there I'd be pretty compatible with that I haven't met yet? Yes.

The idea of the "soulmate" is silly. Believing in "the one" suddenly appearing is setting up oneself for disappointment. Everyone you'll meet is human- complete with flaws, insecurities, and skeletons in their closet. Also, time waits for no one. Life is short. It's up to the person to step up and make things happen for themselves.

I'm not sure... Maybe.
I have no doubt there's at least someone out there who's perfect for me, but I wonder if I'll ever get to meet them let alone have them be single and open to dating me.
I'm more open to just finding someone interesting that I'll never get tired of and that won't get tired of me. The only idea of a soulmate I really need to believe in is that I'll find someone and they'll become the one for me.

Of course they exist. And the odds are that you'll meet them when you turn seventy two years old. Five minutes before you die. So in the meantime, might as well give someone else a shot.
