The year 2015 is drawing to a close. Because of this I thought I'd reflect on...what happened ten years ago. Youtube started in 2005. Gwen Stefani, Green Day and Kelly Clarkson were high in the musical charts. Skinny jeans were beginning to become popular. https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/photo.goodreads.com/hostedimages/1438265091i/15687156.jpg In this thread you can post pictures, videos, music, articles from the year 2005. You can also say where you were in 2005, if you want to. Be nostalgic about 10 years ago before this year is up.

Yes, 2005 was a great year for video games. Resident Evil 4, Jade Empire, Psychonauts, Call of Duty 2. https://i1.ytimg.com/sh/9wlR4zGOtcc/showposter.jpg?v=50342555

10 years ago I had started college, kind of the worst year of my life. I suppose I recall that Law & Order SVU was still good back then, that I never comprehended a day there would be no need for me to have cable & Hulu & Netflix wasn't like...the new best thing. Also getting anime access was more restricted...I cant recall what I really liked back then. Chobits maybe. Also wasnt myspace still the "it" thing? Ew! I still like skinny jeans, Kelly Clarkson, but Blink 182 & Keane was my jam.

http://youtu.be/gGdGFtwCNBE In 2005, Mr. Brightside by the Killers was one of the top songs at the time. ^_^

Funnily enough 2005 was actually my first year of high school. Looks like 2005 was a pretty momentous year for a lot of people. Yes, Myspace was still the popular social network. Aaah, The Killers. Can you get more mid-2000s? Keane's hit "Everybody's Changing" came out just a year before. "Feel Good Inc." from the Gorillaz was also released in 2005. There is apparently going to be a new Gorillaz album in 2016. http://youtu.be/H8Qp38qT-xI In terms of anime: Eureka Seven, Basilisk, Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid, Mushishi.

Geez Jest. XD I never checked out your age. I thought you were older than that. I was already well out of high school when you started.

Hahaha, sorry if I disappointed you Veruca ;0 A lot of the entertainment stuff took a while to get to South Africa though so I saw and experienced a lot of the older stuff-even though I am sort of young. That's probably why everyone thinks I'm older, lol. In fashion the boho-chic (boho being short for bohemian) was apparently popular in 2005. Remember stuff like this? http://img2.timeinc.net/people/i/2005/gallery/falltrends/philton.jpg http://img2.timeinc.net/people/i/2005/startracks/050221/mkolsen2.jpg https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/236x/3a/51/77/3a51774da3d1d32059645e2d5078e0d4.jpg Not the last one. No one wore that in public.
