what is everyone's top 5 list of must see anime!?

Everyone list what five anime you must absolutely see and why. You may state your name, and where your from! If you don't want to that is fine as well! Lets get into as much detail as possible!

name is morgan from DMV, top 5 are but not limited to: 1. Kimi no Iru Machi - it was a pain to read the whole manga even more to watch the anime, great anime doe. 2. Gakkou Gurashi - This anime since episode one surprised me, beautifully blended two genres which are opposite to each other and their tone shifts. 3. Golden Time - one of the best non-harem romance anime i seen in my opinion, 4. kuroko no baske - awesome anime, even though i don't like basketball much irl still made me appreciate the sport lol 5. Dragonball super - enough said.

I'm really into psychological anime and so from that point of view, I would recommend: 1. Steins;Gate 2. Code Geass 3. Death Note 4. Higurashi no Nako Koro ni 5. Kaiji There are tons more but I've provided a blend of popular as well ones a little more obscure. See if you like any of them. :)

Yeah i like a lot of these animes! I like the variety! Im excited because there are a few on this list i havent seen. Like Kaji, Zoids Chaotic Century, Kimi no irumachi! I have seen quite a lot of anime!

1. Kara no Kyoukai - The animation is awesome, the characters, the fights, the music... ALL. 2. Fate/Zero - Same as above. 3. Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann - Epicness. 4. Toaru Majutsu no Index - That Academy City is awesome and I like the plot involving magic, science and extra-sensorial powers. 5. Seto no Hanayome - Funny as hell, it's a shame that this anime was so underrated...

Damn, only five? Well, okay, lets see if I could do this. Okay, in no particular order, here are five timeless animes that I think anyone who calls themselves an otaku should check out.. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Le Chevalier D'Eon | Amazing attention to historical accuracy and detail, political intrigue, sorcery, and badass fencing across France and other european nations around the time of the french revolution. Beautiful animation, rich, complicated characters, and a well woven mystery adventure. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Mujin Wakusei Survive! | A hidden gem nobody seems to have heard of. Its a sci-fi survival story where a group of middle school kids are wrecked on an uninhabited planet, and must pull together their skills, resources, and personal issues in order to carve out a living. The story may start slow, but it goes places, delving into a variety of scenarios, both pertaining to basic survival, and other internal and external threats. Its more family oriented, but that doesn't make it any less good. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Full Metal Panic and Full Metal Panic Fumofu! | Both of these animes should be watched together. A great, gutwrenching sci-fi action series balanced with hilarious antics of a super soldier pretending to be a mundane highschool student... And failing quite hard most of the time. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Either Trigun and/or cowboy bebop | Okay, you can't exactly call yourself an Otaku without having have watched at least one of these scifi adventures... Okay, you can given how anime is an evolving medium, and everyone is going to have their own classics. But these two animes defined gateway anime for thousands of people when I was in high school. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Fruits Basket | Yeah, this is a strange one, especially if you have an apprehension of shoujo anime/manga, but it is a staple to the shoujo genre, and romance anime in general. A heartwarming story about love and friendship where a lonely yet optimistic girl is more or less taken in by a cursed family. (By the way, I recommend the manga over the anime.) Damn, so many others I also wanna put.

Haha, that was the most epic description i have ever seen in my entire life. I know writing only five down is difficult but, it shows me clearly what i should watch for, and i love everyones suggestions so far. I like it especially because, i can tell they are going to be awesome. I look forward to selecting which anime i am going to watch next, judging based from some of the other anime everyone has posted as there top five, i can tell the ones i haven't seen are ones i should not miss seeing!
