It is not unfair to blame Christianity, Maria, because had it not come to pass, maybe the Roman empire wouldn't have collapsed like it did, maybe there wouldn't have been a dark ages period for humans, there would DEFINITELY have been no Crusades, no inquisitions, no Charlemagne, no Popes, no mass murder of pagans, no Vietnam War, and the landscape would have been completely changed. For the better? I can't be certain, but I can be certain that the estimated 200 million slaughtered by the Catholic church from inception to 1700 CE would have been spared. What's 200 million lives? Why would your God claim to love and protect humanity, but yet let 200 million people, the majority of which were harmless, die a painful death? Why would your God let all of the gross and disgusting atrocities happen? Some sort of master plan? Fuck no. There is no God behind it all, at least not the one your iron-age book of lies says.
