Here is what I think of Christianity:
Its an evil, fucked up, homophobic, racist, iron age-derived Middle East-origin Western religion absolutely devoid of logic. It is inherently evil, fallacious.
Here's an example: Free will is a fallacious concept: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z1BzP1wr234
There is no concept of free will because the natural laws of the universe do not include sentient beings rules. I refuse to believe humans are the ultimate form of life.
Humanity itself is destroying itself with the Abrahamic religions - Christianity is the largest. War, famine, hate crimes, all in the name of Christianity.
Not all Christians make me sick, but those who believe this is part of a merciful God's plan do. I spent 7 years from age 5 to 12 being subjected to it, and I've spent another decade being ostracised by my own family for choosing to not be Christian. Fuck Christianity, and fuck the Christians who swallow the book of lies blindly.

In a lot of religions you will find homophobic, racist, sexist and other horrible stuff. For a start I am glad that in most countries people don't buy into it or follow their religion to the letter as it is from a different time.
I believe that religion is an outdated concept and is a cause for war, division, prejudice but on the bright side at least atheism is rising.

All of the above listed is not Christian. And a Christian who speaks such is not Christian at all.
Religion is important however because we are here. Some examples are Evolution, Christianity, Quran, etc. But belittling someone or trying to force ideas isn't the right thing to do either. This is where the problems lay. Ive even had other Christians come at me and im just like "Uh.. what the fuck?"

I think there are a lot of good genuine people out there who believe in god, and that's fine. The problem is the Kim Davis' of the world are the ones who tend to get all the publicity for a lot of what fundamentalist protestant sects of the faith tend to proselytize to it's members. Of which is seen as very negative, hatred, bigotry, etc. by even a lot of more moderate, agnostic, and non-believing people.
I grew up in a catholic home, but fortunate it was never beat into me to the point where it was 100% the law of the home. My dad made sure we went to church on Sundays, Sunday School/CCD, and all the things a normal young catholic like myself would experience. I do feel fortunate to the fact of hearing and reading about how absolutely strict some more fundamentalist and protestant faiths and what happens to it's members that don't comply or follow the faith to the letter, especially young kids who don't see eye to eye with it as well as members of the LGBT community that grew up in those situations.
I think it's why you see a lot of younger people and millenials especially now starting to balk at organized religion in general and why you're seeing a much more liberal view from the current pope in Italy. You can still have faith and believe in a lot of what the bible teaches, but you don't need a church or organization to do it specifically any more.
I'm an atheist now, but I still feel everyone is entitled to what they want to believe. I draw the line though where you start forcing it onto others, especially when it comes to the separation of church and state. I'm not so callous to the fact that things like the 10 commandments need to be stripped from the walls of a public building like a court house or "in god we trust" being removed from money even though it was only put on there in the 1950s. But things like forced prayer in public schools and things like what Kim Davis tried to do after the Supreme Court ruling I'm 100% against. It's really a case by case basis though and depends on the situation and what it involves.

Been noticing that too. It seems like they just don't care about religion as a whole.

Eastern religion is not immoral the way Western religion generally is, both Shinto and Buddhism aren't, at least. Some paganist and tribal/poly religions aren't either, but they're the exception vs the rule.
And personally I don't care if someone says that so and so isn't a Christian and claims they're a Christian themselves, but that won't change mine or any other anti-Christian's opinion of the religion. Your efforts are in vain - your own book betrays you. And if you can start picking and choosing parts of your holybook to believe in, then why not rewrite it in the first place. Its just mythology after all. Stories. Fairytales.
It goes back to an old, old topic I made on the US. It just... this reinforces why exactly Christian majorities ruin it for everyone else.
Cecil, as for secularism, I don't necessarily agree with a nation being neutral about it. I'd be totally fine if China declared Taoism and Buddhism the only state sanctioned religions besides atheism. But they can't leave a barrier to exit. And the modern world leaves a lot of emigration barriers. I couldn't, for example, get on a boat to Singapore and expect to enter the country as a resident without a work permit. Tear down exit barriers and allow dissenters to leave if they don't believe in the state sanctioned religion, I'm totally fine with that. The problem lies in the exit barriers. The only religious conservatism I'm opposed to is the kind that entraps its citizens and punishes them for not believing. I'm tired of secularism because it doesn't work in a country with a majority religion, it just ties the minority's hands and lets the majority religion throw its weight around and make the rules.

I sense a lot of hatred.
I never tried to persuade yourself or otherwise. Merely adding discussion.

I see what you mean by hating Christians, but as you stated, some are not as bad as others. I follow Christianity, but I am not the kind of person to belittle others based on their beliefs. I tend to keep my beliefs in Church or Bible school. I think it is only fair for people to state their beliefs, no matter what they are. But sadly there are people who force religion onto others. I can agree with you on the part of hating those who forced it onto you.
