Installment 17 of my story (Other parts of my story are on pages 151, 166, 214, 220, 246, 253, 260, 269, 271, 279, 294, 309, 321, 321, 322, 324): Veruca was out of breath as adrenaline surged through her body. She felt elated as her friend’s hooting and clapping rang in her ears. Oceanic walked over to her fellow singer and hand in hand they took a bow. The minstrel moved to within an inch of Veruca and whispered, “Didn’t I say this would do you a world of good? You can stay for another song if you want to.” Veruca wasn’t sure that she would survive the excitement of another song so she politely declined and let Oceanic have the stage all to herself. Our heroine was met with a lot of good natured back slapping and praise when she walked among her friends. “I didn’t know you had such a pleasant singing voice Veru” Manga Bird said tittering. Veruca could only blush and nod when confronted with all this praise. She looked around the crowd for Arc. She didn’t see him though. She asked Frost and Panda about where Arc went. Panda replied “Oh, he stood up in the middle of the song. He looked pretty out of it.”. That isn’t how our heroine remembered Arc looking when she came into the bar. He was in good spirits when she last saw him. Veruca felt a twinge of regret that he didn’t see her singing. She thanked her friends and set off again. As she stepped on to the main road she heard “Verucaaaa! Verucaaaa!”. She turned around to see Fancy running towards her. The tailor stopped right in front of Veruca, out of breath. When Fancy had gathered herself sufficiently, “I’m done with your commission. You can come with me to get your doll!”. The sentence drew some strange looks from passers-by. “Ssssh, Fancy. I wouldn’t want the world to think I’ve got some weird fetish”. Coyly Fancy put a hand to her mouth, “Your secret fetish is safe with me.”. “No I didn’t mean…” Before Veruca could plead her case though, Fancy set off for her shop. Our protagonist had to bustle after her to keep up. Because of this pace Fancy and Veruca reached the tailor shop very quickly. Veruca followed the clothes maker into the ornate and bright interior. Perched on top of the counter was the doll in all its newly clothed glory. The doll sported the exact same sky blue suit that Arc wore on special occasions. The heroine turned to the tailor, “I am impressed Fancy. How did you manage it in such a short time?”. “I had some rough copies of the suit that I made for Arc. It was just a matter of repurposing it for a doll. Thankfully I’ve got my assistant Matt to help me.”, Fancy said shrugging. “Narga Blarga!”, came from the back of the room. Veruca remembered the ragged, starving swordsman that came stumbling into the village months ago. Fancy had taken pity on him and had given him a job and lodgings. Matt made short work of any material he had to cut while working as a tailor’s assistant. Nice job again jest. Not to be rude or anything but it feels like this thread has gotten a bit depressing...

Lol I am getting lazy..... I would write some fan fiction. ..but I rather game o.o

Oh no that's totally understandable ^^ It was really fun with everyone but since Lux hasn't been around it's kinda gotten a bit dreary

You're right Pika. It looks like the activity has gone down. Maybe everyone is bracing for Christmas already? I'll keep posting my stories in the week days though ;)
