You can Lenny but they cannot spend it on your behalf and it is both your's and the genie's combined distinction if the money you give them is being spend on yourself. So say they treat you to a meal with money you gave them. You'd still get the finger. If on the other hand you were to say take a shower at a house they bought with it, it would not count.
