bottom of the ocean

@neko prince panda-kun :3 Space travel is actually easier to predict due to most variables being fairly constant. This is the reason why its more difficult to predict the weather in our own atmosphere than to predict the future position of a planet, millions of years ahead of time. Yes, pressure is the main issue with deep-sea exploration. However, the other important issue is the amount of data we typically receive in return for the efforts put in. We have reached the deepest part of the ocean on several occasions but the results of these expeditions are disappointing to say the least. The sheer difficulty, painstakingly slow process, and not to mention expensive process of deep-sea exploration make it very well off-putting. The process is comparable to moon exploration in the way that .. we can do it, but we can put our money to better uses. I mean, really look at it. You are exploring the surface of a planet with nothing but rocks. What data can you realistically use it for? Millions of dollars gone while our country's national debt is soaring well over 17 trillion dollars. I repeat, trillion. I wouldn't be surprised if we are unable to explore the entire ocean within the next two centuries. I'm just sharing some knowledge from my environmental science, oceanography, and marine biology classes ;]. Define exploration? We have mapped 100% of the ocean, but only to the resolution of 5km. Basically meaning we only have the topography of the earth in those regions. Shall I go on? Yadadadadada. yyadadad .. blah blah. something seemingly smart sounding.

All these explorations made by human beings to supposedly benefit all humanity are lies. I truly believe that even all the deseases have been found a cure but there is nothing telling us they don't want to give them away because supporting more lives actually doesn't benefit those that are in power. In the end, when this earth ends it's usable life span for us, those that are going to remain are those with power. I truly believe all and any of us are being controlled by them. So basically all this research is for them and not the normal population. Still it's a pretty good question, however I don't think it interests them that much given that it's seen as: "well we've got water and food here that's all I need to know from here what about another planet?". With all this technology advances, how the human being improved in just 100 years after a single reunion, makes me think we live under some kind of game for them. Just my thought.

Alright i get that its much harder to explore the bottom and we dont get much results, but what i guess what im trying to get at is we are quick to explore other planets when we dont know alot about our own. If we cant predict weather and pther things on our own planet what good is knowing what goes on, on a different planet? I believe that all of this would be possible if all the major countries put aside differences and worked together rather than apart we could accomplish much more if every scientist in the world worked together. Cause sure 100 scientist studying a certain thing might get results but what is 100 to 600

I think your answer would be selfishness and ambition. These are part of human beings since the very beggining and that's why shit happens. End of it.
