Visual Novel HELP

I probably won't get any replies. But, recently I have been in the process of creating a visual novel. I am using Renpy Visual Novel Engine. I have a story, characters, and everything. The only problem is, I cant figure out how to work with it. The script editor keeps failing (perhaps I enter commands wrong. I wonder if anyone is willing to help out with script editing. Is anyone on here familiar with Renpy's script editor?

You should probably check out some other forum. You could look into instructions and tutorials more to see what you do wrong.

What kind of visual novel will it be? Just downloaded Ren'Py and it seems fairly basic. I have a ton of school work to do over the weekend but if you're willing to wait I would love to help with the coding. You would be providing the script and images, right? Edit: I'd be willing to code the whole thing on the condition that I could get my name in the credits and when I'm asked if I've had previous coding experience, I could show them it.

Yes, you would get your name on the credits. I have the script and images already (not fully complete, but a good amount.) Aside from that I think the reason it's so confusing to me is because it is my first visual novel and I don't have experience coding.

If you want, You could send me the resources (music, images, script) for a small part. I could create that for you and see if you like the style. If so, we could carry on or I could edit it. Would it be a kinetic or interactive visual novel? Edit: I also have a friend who wants a future in the video games industry. I'm sure I could convince him to help.

It would be a Kinetic Visual Novel. The characters are no problem. But about the script, is it okay if I simply wrote the entire thing like this? Example : Person A Enters his room quietly. "I hear Person B coming..." Person A : Hi Person B! Person B: Hi Person A! I can reformat it to whatever is necessary

That sounds good but let me know what images to include where. Edit: I could use common sense in most cases but if you could include them, just to be sure, that would be great.
