i think the egg came first...but then again there is no way to tell for sure what happened back then maybe the chicken came first who knows? but i think what happened was that after time went on the animal that the chicken evolved from laid an egg and what hatched out from the egg was what we know today as the chicken
I believe the chicken came first. I guess I can support this with two different beliefs. If we follow the theory of evolution or simple natural selection we get the protozoa until we are formed. Meaning that the body was the first to appear, giving us a hint that the chicken obviously had to be first. Otherwise, how would the egg be incubated? I think evolution can explain this clearly.
The other belief is obviously residing on religion, since religion tell us everything was made by God in six days it is also obvious he made the body first. If this wasn't the case then, instead of a human body he infused breath in, he would have created a fetus first... This is illogical.
Either way, nothing is proved but this seems like a more plausible curse of action.
Evolution. Scientifically, the genetic structure of the organism went through changes over millions of years, thus the egg would have been first for what today would be a chicken.
This of course doesn't mean to say the chicken ancestry started by egg-production, but might have evolved into that.
Clearly eggs came first.
