Not worth it. This site is fine because it narrows down to interests and most people I met are decent human beings but Tinder, Badoo and Loovoo were a waste of time. 95% of the guys are pervs looking for ONSs or sexting buddies. Also as a girl... Your inbox will first overflow with dull greeting messages and then with people bitching you wouldn't reply fast enough. Screw that shit. Took down my account usually at most a month later. Now I can't really say anything about paid sites, since I never used one.

^ How is that bombardment different from IRL sexual harassment?
Just ignore it.
If you close yourself off from things because a lot of people tend to not fit your idea of awesome then you will miss out.
In any case I would find it a very unrealistic scenario to be socially attacked by an overwhelming number of suitable partners.
Also sometimes what you think you know you want is not what you may need or does not look like what you think it should.

Oh, well maybe by the fact that I do not have people sexually harass me every few minutes IRL. Sure there might be some good seeds but definitely not worth the shit I had to read through on hourly basis. Not to mention the back thought of how many of those creeps jerked off to my pictures. Hell, no. Such sites are breeding ground for guys who look for the no-strings-attached golden deluxe package. You're free to use these sites, dear, but I made my judgement.
Nah, I am pretty sure that casual sex with strangers is not what I look for. But thanks for asking. :)

Sad truth it can happen anywhere, even here.
But what you say is straight on point anyway.
Personally I used once and not for the reason it exists. Mostly to kill time and yet managed to meet one person who actually had common sense and maturity, she told me pretty much the same, as a woman on such sites you get a dick pic basically on a daily basis with cheesy pick up lines.

Who cares if someone jerks off to your photo... do you walk outside veiled incase someone remembers what you look like and jerks off to that???
I understand what you mean, but it all seems kind of silly and pointless to let a stranger's thoughts affect your life choices.
Just because someone wants casual sex does not mean you need to put out..... Am I missing something here?
I find it difficult to believe people are pressured by someone else's impression of sexuality to the point of "hiding" themselves online or retreating from dating sites.
I strongly believe the real issue is that most expect quick fixes. To be "found" immediately upon creating a profile, which is very unrealistic.

"Who cares if someone jerks off to your photo..."
You have to take the consideration of ones view on the mental subject of it.
To some it's creepy and very uncomfortable but yet indeed. You could simply not give a fuck about it but it all elvolves around ones mental state and how they see things from their perspective.
Odd thing, girls (some) see it creepy meanwhile a guy... He feels pride, I think its something you could even use to boost your self esteem with if you are that desperate for it.
I had a best friend who was a girl so I'm used to such perspective of "disgust" most of guys that ever wrote to her would either hit on her or attempt to ask her for nudes.
Now... I wouldn't be surprised with most of girls would start being scared when uploading pictures or anything similar to it.
