So I guess this is an autism general thread, then. This will probably sound like power leveling, but I've been diagnosed with high-functioning autism since I was little. I'm socially fucked for the most part (probably from my interests and being more comfy talking online), but I still move forward.

I'm gonna be honest, I never knew Fancy was autistic until a few months ago, after we started dating! I just thought she's a friendly person with quirks! And she changed my perception of autistic folk. My former best friend is autistic and he hurt me, so I felt negative feelings about them for awhile. That changed. And Fancy, when you're reading this, why didn't you tell me individually? Because if you had told me one on one, I'd still have accepted you before I really knew you.

How most people view ASD is stereotypical like Rain Man, Forrest Gump, Good Doctor, Atypical, Adam, Temple Grandin, etc. But by my instincts, I see similarities within these real and fictional people.
