Denying is not the same as ignorance. Don't confuse that with blatant ignorance. Just because one does not know does not mean the answer MUST be fantastic in nature. Understanding why one needs a particular answer, that might just be the more important question.

My whole point is that making an actual intellectual effort in idealizing reason leads to nothing, and as such, Nihilism, which can lead to another myriad of noxioius thoughts. Idealizing religion, funnily enough leads to some kind of Nihilism, too.
Edit: In fact, I am wrong in mistaking Belief with Religion. Religion has the necessity of re-linking. Nihilism is the belief of Nothing, of Void. A belief of non-belief, which is contradicting.
