Welcome. As for anime, you can go for all the mainstream stuff like Bleach, One Piece, Naruto, Attack on Titan, Sword Art Online, Fairy Tale, etc. My favorite anime are Angel Beats, Toradora, 5 Centimeters Per Second, Golden Time, things of that genre. Send me a FR if you like.
